Rider 30 L – panniers for a front or rear rack

Extrawheel Rider 30 L is a set of two yellow bicycle panniers with a total capacity of 30 L (2 × 15 L). They can be fitted to a front or rear rack, making them suitable for commuting, shopping, short rides and weekend bicycle trips.

This version combines a bright yellow colour with black details, making it visually more distinctive than darker colour options. Two separate compartments make it easier to organise your luggage and distribute the weight evenly on both sides of the rack. Each pannier can also be mounted and used separately.

Waterproof construction and HFW welding

The panniers are made from durable coated polyester fabric manufactured in Germany. The material is designed for intensive use, easy to clean and suitable for riding in changing weather conditions.

The pannier components are joined using high-frequency welding (HFW). Welded joints, used instead of conventional stitching, reduce the number of potential entry points for water.

Full waterproof protection is achieved after rolling the closure down four times, fastening the buckles and compressing the pannier. When closed correctly, the panniers protect your luggage from rain, mud and moisture.

The yellow colour makes the panniers more visually distinctive in daylight, while large reflective elements help improve the cyclist’s visibility after dark and in conditions of reduced visibility.

Rixen & Kaul mounting system

The Rider model is equipped with a Rixen & Kaul mounting system. The upper hooks have fixed spacing, so their position should be compared with the design of the front or rear rack before purchase.

How does the Rider 30 L mounting system work?

The panniers use a Rixen & Kaul mounting system. The upper hooks have a fixed position, with an inner spacing of 133 mm and an outer spacing of 184 mm. The lower hook can be rotated through 360°, making it easier to match the rack design and stabilise the pannier while riding.

Can Rider 30 L panniers be mounted on both front and rear racks?

Yes. Rider panniers can be used on a front or rear rack if its design is compatible with the hook spacing. They fit rack tubes with a diameter of 6–16 mm. Before purchase, check the rack geometry and the available heel clearance.
