Extrawheel is a Polish manufacturer of bicycle touring equipment. Since 2005, we have been designing and manufacturing bicycle panniers, handlebar bags, dry bags, single-wheel bicycle trailers and accessories for carrying luggage by bike.

Our products are designed for everyday rides, weekend trips, bikepacking and multi-day bicycle tours. We focus on durability, effective luggage protection, stable mounting and the ability to service equipment over many seasons of use.

What bicycle equipment does Extrawheel make?

Extrawheel develops a coherent system for carrying luggage by bicycle. The range includes equipment for everyday transport, recreational cycling, bikepacking and long-distance bicycle touring.

Designed and manufactured in Poland

Extrawheel products are developed and manufactured at our production facility in Harklowa, southern Poland. Direct control over design, material selection, manufacturing and quality inspection helps us maintain consistent product quality.

We select materials and components according to the intended use of each product. For selected waterproof panniers and bags, we use high-frequency welding to join the material without conventional stitching in areas that require watertight construction.

  • High-frequency welding (HFW) – used in selected waterproof panniers and bags to create durable, watertight joints
  • Service and spare parts – selected components can be replaced instead of replacing the entire product
  • 5-year manufacturer’s warranty – warranty support for Extrawheel products
  • Development based on real use – products are improved using experience from bicycle tours, testing and customer feedback

The history of Extrawheel

Extrawheel was created to solve a practical problem: how to carry more luggage by bicycle without unnecessarily overloading the bicycle itself. This idea led to the development of the brand’s characteristic single-wheel bicycle trailer.

  • 2005 – launch of the first Extrawheel single-wheel bicycle trailer. Its full-size wheel could also serve as a spare wheel for the bicycle.
  • 2008 – the Extrawheel trailer received a patent from the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland.
  • 2009 – introduction of the Voyager series of bicycle trailers.
  • 2019 – launch of the Wayfarer and Rambler bicycle panniers and Sailor dry bags. Extrawheel also exhibited at EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen for the first time.
  • 2020 – introduction of the Biker bicycle pannier series.
  • 2021–2023 – development and implementation of high-frequency welding technology for selected panniers and bags.
  • Today – Extrawheel offers a complete system of panniers, bags, dry bags, single-wheel trailers, accessories and spare parts for bicycle travel.
